Pine Harbour Cruising Club

We welcome both families of launches and yachts and anyone with an interest in boating

The club holds regular gatherings on locations around the beautiful Hauraki Gulf. We have an active yacht racing series during the summer and winter. The season opening is kick-started with our annual get-together Champagne Breakfast. We have many exciting activites planned for the coming season with the key ingredient in our friendly clubbeing FUN and enjoying the company of others who also share the passion of the sea. If you do not own a boat but would like to be part of our club you will be most welcome. You can learn about sailing by joining one of our yacht crews. Membership

The Pine Harbour Cruising Club is an inclusive, family-friendly bunch. All are welcome – sailors, racers and cruisers, those who are experienced and those who are learning the ropes – to come and join in the fun.

Membership is just $130 per year with a nomination fee of $40. If you don’t have a boat but would like to crew on someone else’s, then the Associate/Crew Membership might be for you at $50. We also welcome families at $155.

If you’re curious about becoming a member, simply complete an application form. If you have any questions, contact one of the team. No question is too silly!

Annual Events

We hold several annual land-based events. There’s a Champagne Breakfast to kick off the season, a Progressive Dinner, and festive Christmas Dinner in December. Mostly though, the action happens out on the water. 

Racing

Racing is a big part of the Pine Harbour Cruising Club. We enjoy a high level of competition while keeping it fun and social. During the summer months, The Twilight Series – with its post-race barbeque and prize-giving – is on Thursday evenings. The Mount Gay Rum Series is on every other Sunday during Winter. And as if that wasn’t enough, there’s a sprinkling of other gatherings at lovely locations around the Gulf.
